About Our School
The faculty and staff of St. Peter School strives to offer a strong academic education in a Christ centered community that emphasizes Christian moral values. We want our students to be prepared morally, academically, socially and culturally to make positive contributions, now and in the future, as both local and global citizens.
Our staff members are fully certified by the state of Ohio and our school has full accreditation through the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association.
As of October 31, 2021, St. Peter School enrolls 155 students in the preschool through grade 8. Our preschoolers and kindergarten through eighth grade follow an all day schedule. The particulars about tuition, registration, times of attendance, etc. can be found in the parent/student handbook and on this website.
We are proud to offer a curriculum that promotes academic excellence in the core subjects, but also provides opportunities for students to excel in art, music, foreign language, physical education and computer technology. Students carry out roles in the weekly liturgies and are given experiences in many of the rituals and traditions of the Catholic Church. St. Peter students are encouraged to do service projects and to participate in co-curricular activities. Our students take part in football, cross country, volleyball, basketball, and track through their local school district, the St. Peter CYO or through the Sandusky Central Catholic Schools.
St. Peter School has exciting opportunities for parents to volunteer such as field trips, during lunch or recess, and many other times throughout the school day. If you would like to see the Diocese of Toledo’s policy for volunteers, please click here. Please contact the school office for more information on how to volunteer at our school.
All new registration for the coming school year is done on Registration Sunday, which is usually the first Sunday of March. However, you are welcome to call to schedule a visit or stop by anytime to receive more information about St. Peter School.
God Bless,
Mrs. Kim Cope, Principal
