About Our School

The faculty and staff of St. Peter School strives to offer a strong academic education in a Christ centered community that emphasizes Christian moral values. We want our students to be prepared morally, academically, socially and culturally to make positive contributions, now and in the future, as both local and global citizens.

Our staff members are fully certified by the state of Ohio and our school has full accreditation through the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association.

As of November 2022, St. Peter School enrolls 138 students in preschool through eighth grade. We are proud to offer a curriculum that promotes academic excellence in the core subjects, but also provides opportunities for students to excel in art, music, foreign language, physical education and computer technology. Students carry out roles in the weekly liturgies and are given experiences in many of the rituals and traditions of the Catholic Church. St. Peter students are encouraged to do service projects and to participate in co-curricular activities. Our students take part in football, cross country, volleyball, basketball, and track through their local school district, the St. Peter CYO or through the Sandusky Central Catholic Schools.

Effective with the 2020-2021 school year, we have become an EdChoice provider, which allows us the opportunity to offer a Catholic education to those who would otherwise not be able to take advantage of our school.

St. Peter School has exciting opportunities for parents to volunteer such as field trips, during lunch or recess, and many other times throughout the school day.
