Student Transfer Policy
This policy pertains to students who are transferring from another school to St. Peter School. Children of any race or religion are welcome to attend St. Peter School. It is our hope that parents who are transferring their children from another school to our school are aware of our mission statement and are making a commitment that will last throughout the student’s elementary years.
There are many legitimate reasons for transferring a student from one school to another, some which serve the parent, others which serve the student. The good of the school must also be considered. A transfer made by the parent for the good of the student which involves a long-term commitment to the school will result in the most productive educational partnership. Such transfers will be done on a probationary basis.
